Sometimes we need a little bit of help to get motivated and build up our confidence to start a new activity or even get back into one we’ve done before. It can seem daunting to don our active wear and head out where people might see us, you might not be able to do as much as you like and feel disappointed. But there are lots of us out there thinking the same, so don’t be scared it will get easier and you will get fitter, and there is no reason why you should have to do it on your own, there are some fabulous clubs and classes around that that will help build your confidence and fitness and inspire you.
I have had several clients come to me lately wanting to get back into a sport or try a new sport but have been slightly apprehensive, as they feel stiff or lack mobility or have suffered from previous injuries.
With a little bit of massage work to help relieve the congestion in the muscles and increase their range of motion at the joints and make them feel more supple. They have been brave enough to get out there, take it at their own pace, train and be successful.
